The Information Systems Capstone Project serves as the culmination of students' information systems studies, integrating theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired throughout the program into a comprehensive capstone project. In this Capstone Project, students are expected to employ project management methodologies, systems analysis and design, database management, software development, and information systems implementation concepts that they have learned throughout the Program into the project. This Capstone course aims to allow students to practice their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills in developing innovative solutions, showcasing their proficiency in information systems for their professional endeavours.

BIS302 - Agile Project Management in Information Systems | 2026
Agile Project Management in Information Systems provides students with a deep understanding of agile methodologies tailored for managing information systems projects efficiently. The course explores key agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP) as well as agile principles such as iterative development, continuous delivery, and stakeholder collaboration, emphasising their application in the context of IT projects. This course aims to prepare students to lead agile projects, facilitate effective sprint planning and retrospectives, utilise agile tools and metrics to monitor project progress, deliver value and adapt to changing requirements.
