The Accounting Capstone Project serves as the culmination of students' accounting studies, integrating theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired throughout the Program into a comprehensive capstone project. In this Capstone Project, students are expected to employ the concepts they have learnt to solve real world accounting issues and challenges, demonstrating their proficiency in the various accounting principles and techniques. This Capstone aims to allow students to practise their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills in researching and practicing their accounting knowledge as well as skills professionally.

Forensic Accounting explores the application of accounting principles and investigative techniques to detect, investigate, and prevent financial fraud and misconduct. The course covers topics such as fraud examination, forensic data analysis, litigation support, and expert witness testimony that are required for identifying red flags of fraudulent activities and effectively navigating through them. The aim of this course is to equip students with the problem-solving and critical thinking skills that will enable them to assist organisations in fraud risk assessments, investigations and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Business Law provides students with an understanding of the legal principles and regulations relevant to business operations and transactions. The course covers various aspects of commercial law, including contract law, tort law, consumer protection, property law, and business entities in the context of commercial activities in Australia. The aim of this course is to prepare students to be able to interpret and apply the concepts of business law to real-world scenarios, identifying legal risks, and implementing strategies for compliance and risk management that enable them to provide value to businesses.
